Collection: Light in Dark Places

Represents the beginning of a new artistic direction for me, and is a direct result of my ongoing struggle to develop my own unique style of photography. Using the photographic technique called light painting, I photographed a series of common household objects, bathing each in concentrated light and smoke to create the desired effect. Each final image, or creature, is a collage of these images that are positioned, colorized, and blended together in the digital darkroom.
